Emma’s Fundraiser
Ukraine
My name is Emma Cokenour, I'm a Texas high school senior who grew up in Hungary and play classical piano. I'm raising funds for Gut, Ukraine, a tiny village that was already suffering before the war and has since been decimated. The people in this village are being deserted and left without basic resources for survival. All the men are gone, either drafted, fled, or dead. The children are going through terrible psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual suffering, with many in the region deported to horrifying Russian ‘re-education camps’.
I have composed a new classical piano piece in the Ukrainian style, and any donors for this fund will receive a link to download the song for free. Whatever the amount, we can still help the people directly and with integrity. We must remember Jesus’s call to not be alarmed (Matthew 24:3-8), and also remember our duty to be compassionate and selfless (Ephesians 4:31-32).
“Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
100% of the funds received will go directly to a team working in the village of Gut. It will help fund a charity kitchen and assist the one church that remains. Faith is strong among the people there, but they need as much help as they can get.
*We will email your download as soon as we can. If you do not receive it, please send an email to: office@linksintlusa.org. Thank you for giving!*
