Emergency in El Salvador

Dear Friends,

In this unprecedented time in our country and world, dire needs continue to present themselves.

Even through the COVID lockdown, I have been training leaders in El Salvador every other week on Zoom. These are great people serving vulnerable people every single day. Daily challenges were already significant, and that has been made far worse by a tropical storm doing significant damage. Some have lost their lives, others have lost all their possessions, and thousands more have sustained significant damage.

A state of emergency has been declared, evacuations have been ordered, churches have been turned into shelters, and the needs are severe. We are mobilizing resources to help as many people as we can. We woke up to the news that another tropical storm is on the way. 

David Cuchillas is our man on the ground in El Salvador who helps us coordinate trips, projects and all of our work there. David says, "Everything you give here will go straight to some of the biggest needs to these precious people in desperate need. Thank you!" 

Please give what you can to help. The needs in El Salvador are great, but God is greater!
