Links Family,
"WOW!" seems to be the best word to describe the last few months of frenzy for the Links Family here in Texas (+ one quick trip to New York). It doesn't happen often, but we love it when we all get to be together! After hosting our Central American friends and partners in January, February and March have been STRONG. These meetings plot a course forward for all of the amazing work we get to support, and we truly believe each gathering is a gift!
HOUSTON
This past week Joe Gisbey, our Links UK CEO, and Sam Walker, who heads up our Links Africa hub, joined us in Houston. They were both able to speak at our local church, Grace Houston, at our Sunday and Wednesday services, as well as to our Staff and Team. We had a great time pouring into one another, talking about Links, praying together, and even getting to check off a few quintessential Houston "have tos"—the Houston Rodeo and NASA Space Center.
We also managed to make a few other meetings work while Joe & Sam were in town with Dan & Renaue Thompson and with our Grafted Together team, Sid & Wendy Harper. We are so grateful to everyone for making these meetings happen and it was lovely to see you all!
The future of Links is bright and we cannot wait to do even more together!
DFW
During our time together, we also managed to meet up with several friends and partners in the DFW area. We met with Duane White of the O2 Network, Paul & Perrianne Brownback and their family at The Abbey in Azle, Texas, Jay Pike at The Bridge Church in Denton, and Kerry & Chiqui Wood of Table of Friends in North Richland Hills.
It is always great to catch up with everyone and see just how God is working and continuing to weave our hearts together. These Texas and UK connections have been years in the making and we don't take for granted all the time, prayers, prophetic words, and relationships that have been invested into in order to make us all Links Family!
HERE'S JOHNNY!
Last month, our friend Pastor Johnny, from Ghana, West Africa, was supposed to be with us in Texas, but bad weather happened, and I found myself flying to New York to see him. Johnny has been a part of the Links story since before there was Links, and we can't wait to share more about that later this year. This was a divinely-inspired meeting, and I'm so grateful for such a special time with him.
