Project Siloam

Caring for the elderly is an important opportunity in the developing world as many are abandoned when the care gets to difficult. We are partnering with a local church in San Salvador to provide care for this precious demographic in El Salvador.

Eye care is a huge issue among the elderly, and we are partnering with a local ophthalmologist who is donating his services to provide much needed surgeries. The additional costs for the surgeries are $500 per person. There is an ongoing need for these simple operations, and we would like to invite our Links Family to make a difference by providing the gift of sight to our elderly friends in El Salvador. Your donation of any amount will be Good News to El Salvador.

In addition to caring for the eyes, our friends in El Salvador provide meals, build ongoing relationships, provide encouragement and spend time in prayer with them.

Please contact us if you have any questions or want to know more about how you can get involved with this significant work in El Salvador.

Through eye care and ongoing relationships, we are able to let these precious people (who have been abandoned) know they have not been forgotten and that God loves them.
