Later this week, Holly and I are heading down to invest in several different groups of leaders in Nicaragua. The video above are just a few of the testimonies from one our Leadership Development Training times.
It's truly humbling to hear how our time together produces life-changing perspectives. There are few things that jump out when I listen to these stories...
Everybody comes away with something - These realizations help them in their roles and allow them to have a greater impact with the people they are serving and leading.
Spiritual & Practical - These times are rich in both spiritual insight, leadership concepts, and practical tools.
Gratitude - Isn't it beautiful how grateful they are for the time invested in them? They don't take it for granted.
Invite you back - We don't run our agenda on these trips, we work hard to make sure the work we do fits the long-term goals of our partners. One of our biggest concerns is whether it was valuable to them. An invitation back is no small matter.
When we return this week, we will be focusing on what's best for the different groups. For one group we will move from leadership concepts to self-awareness and empowerment. For another group, we will take them deeper and focus on the strengths of their leadership voice and team collaboration. For the final group, we will start a journey of becoming a 100x Leader (healthy and multiplying).
The trainings we provide are high level resources used in both churches and corporate settings all over the world. We provide this free of charge to leaders hand-selected by our friends at The Hope Project, which includes not only their team, but partner organizations, area pastors, community leaders and more.
I would like to thank everyone who has donated already to this trip. We could still use about $750 to cover all the expenses (that sponsors about 15 leaders to participate).
