It's Almost Time (for Nica again)!
I'm getting really excited that our next trip to Nicaragua is coming up in just a couple of weeks! All of our trips have tremendous value, but this one is going to be significant for several reasons.
First, I'm going to be following up on training that I began in August. Since August, I have been in touch with several key leaders and have been coaching them in leadership. Our time on this next trip will take them a step further in self-awareness, character development, leadership capacity and will give them practical tools to help in their everyday contexts.
We will be training at least 50 leaders on this trip, and it's possible that that number could swell to around 200. The leaders that we train are responsible for a direct impact of at least 50 people each. In many cases, the leaders we are investing in are leading and serving literally 100's of people. At the minimum, this trip will have a direct impact on over 2500 people in need of the GOOD NEWS of Jesus.
Additionally, we will be spending time with community leaders planning out the details of our 2020 Nica trips. We'll be sharing more of those details soon, and I would love it if you could join us on a trip in 2020.
If you're wondering how you can help out, there are two ways. First, could you pray for this trip? The dates are November 21-27. The trip will just be myself and a translator this time. I covet your prayers for safety, effectiveness and God's faithfulness is opening the right doors for this trip and future trips. Please be praying now for the preparation and plans, and make a note to pray while we are there. Second, could you donate toward the cost of this trip? We are providing materials for the participants including supplies and small gifts. The cost to train a leader on this trip is only $50 per leader. Please use the link below if you would like to make a donation. It doesn't have to be the entire $50. Everything truly does help!
As always, thanks for being part of the #LinksFamily. I can't wait to see how God uses us for His glory and the good of our friends in Nicaragua. Please let me know if you have any questions at all, and it's actually not too late if this trip is something you'd like to be a part of.
For the Kingdom,
