Help us Train Leaders in Nicaragua?
Training and empowering community leaders to lead more effectively can have a massive and positive impact on the people they lead. The reality is that Pastors, ministry leaders, and community leaders often don’t have access to education or leadership resources to help them grow in character, spiritual maturity, effectiveness, and productivity. I use a variety of training material based on the needs of our partners. Next week I have the privilege of facilitating a 7 Habits of Highly Effective People seminar for 30 leaders in Nicaragua in addition to the 5 Voices of Leadership. I (of course) weave the Gospel into these resources and additionally provide one-on-one coaching to all the participants. It’s going to be a great experience!
Franklin Covey has offered to give us an extremely discounted rate on their official materials which are usually more than $200 per packet. Additionally, we are adding supplemental training videos that have been translated into Spanish. All in, we are able to provide a thorough and professional training experience for about $85 per participant (our travel expenses are separate).
I would like to ask if you could possibly sponsor one (or more) of the leaders to receive the training. As I have already said, this investment will have an impact that goes way beyond the individuals, as each of them is on the front lines of confronting poverty through sustainable faith-based initiatives that are helping the poor rise out of poverty. A full $85 sponsorship is great. More than one is amazing, but any amount is helpful and significant.
