"Famines of Biblical Proportion"

A huge part of our work CONFRONTING POVERTY is motivated by addressing starvation (among other things) in vulnerable places around the world.

Because of #Covid19, David Beasley of the World Food Programme has predicted that global starvation deaths could swell from 20,000 a day to 300,000. 20,000 was already catastrophic, and the global effects of food supply, trade, etc., are just starting to be felt which will escalate this situation to unbelievable levels.

This picture shows some of our partners in Uganda praying over the food they are distributing to the community to help keep people alive. Your generosity to our #CovidReliefFund will literally save lives. The reach of the work continues to multiply to surrounding communities, and we are receiving updates from Africa, India and Central America every week.

A donation of $10 or $15 can keep several people fed for several days. Thank you for helping us make a BIG difference during this challenging time!
