Back to Africa

Last week we had a Zoom call with some of our partners and friends from several different countries in Africa. It was amazing to feel transported there and to hear about the amazing work happening among different communities in Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, and beyond.

The lockdown is still creating severe challenges for our partners. They have all had to pivot in different ways to serve the people God has called them to live among. They are making a huge difference in their communities, and we are proud of how they continue to adapt

I would like to ask two things from our Links Family on their behalf...

  1. Would you continue to pray for them? Much of the work they felt called to do there has been hindered or halted due to the lockdown. Please pray they would be able to pick up where they left off when the time is right. Please pray that the work they're currently doing to care for people would bring blessings and fulfillment to both the givers and the receivers. Finally, the workers there that call either the US or UK home are not able to travel home at a time where they likely would have. Please pray for their energy, their families, and their hearts as they pour themselves out every day

  2. Would you consider making a donation to help with the work they have pivoted to? The COVID related mission work is of the utmost importance, and it is as serious as ever. Even a small donation will make a big difference. You can donate using the COVID button below.

Thank you for your steadfastness in standing with us as we stand behind those who are serving people in desperate need. If you would like any more information, would like to know more about a specific project that could benefit from your support, or if you need anything at all, please let us know.
