Exciting News from El Salvador
Welcome David Cuchillas as our El Salvador Region Coordinator! David will be working closely with our USA Office facilitating the work of Links' partners and projects on the ground in El Salvador and the surrounding countries.
David holds a Musical Studies Degree from the El Salvador National Institute of Arts and he is currently in the process of finishing his University Degree in Communications. He has worked as a freelance translator for pharmaceutical products, for Compassion International as a Tours and Visit Specialist and currently runs a local Photo Booth Business. David has served as a musician and worship director, youth director, youth leader and a volunteer for several Christian organizations helping in different areas of ministry.
David's wife, Rebeca, has her degree in Culinary Arts and Bakery and Patisseries. In the past, Rebeca has even run her own Catering Business. She has also served as a Sunday school teacher, youth director, youth leader, cell group leader and volunteer for different Christian organizations and local outreach programs.
David and Rebeca are also proud parents to their beautiful first-born daughter, Grace, who was born in July 2020 and was a miraculous gift sent from God. They both love spending time with Grace and together as a family.
David met Jason Bollinger from the Links USA Office back in 2016 when their paths came together through working with another organization. Since that time he has been working alongside Links facilitating opportunities of service in El Salvador, coordinating projects, logistics, emergency aid and interpreting for training sessions with local churches, pastors and community leaders, both in El Salvador and Nicaragua.
