As we head into celebrating the BEST NEWS EVER, we want to remember 4 more of the 24 WAYS LINKS is giving GOOD NEWS across the world as we are trusting God to raise $24,000 for 2024 by the end of the year. Today, we're excited to share about some of our foundational projects.

8 - Micro-Enterprise Development
One of Links' core beliefs over the years has been to give a hand up and not a handout. One of the best ways we create potential is by empowering people to start and run their own sustainable micro-businesses. With as little as $150, we train partners to start a business that provides for their families at a fair wage. We have an over 90% repayment rate on these microloans; and when repaid, that same amount is given to someone else.
It is a true blessing to see such a reasonable donations change the destinies of so many people.
7 - Clean Water
Contaminated water is one of the biggest contributors to childhood sickness and even death in the developing world. In many cases even publicly supplied water is dangerous and not safe to drink. Our water filtration systems provide clean water for up to 200 people for 2 years. This solution can be installed in any home, church or community center, and it literally saves lives. This is GOOD NEWS to hundreds of people every year, and you can provide clean water for as little as $75.
6 - Education
We love working with partners who focus on education. Education is another incredible opportunity to break the cycle of generational poverty. We support education programs in South America, Central America, Europe, Africa, South Asia and East Asia. It is a joy to give the gift of knowledge to students who value the gift they have been given. In many cases, a donation of $35 can provide education for a child for a year. Every year we have more invitations than we can accommodate to fund education projects around the world.
5 - Leadership Training & Development
Raising up leaders is key to confronting poverty and creating potential. We don't want any of our partners to be dependent upon us, so we work hard to equip and empower leaders at all levels in all places to have the practical, spiritual, and emotional tools they need to facilitate ministries and operations. We train in person and online consistently throughout the year as our partners trust us with their leaders. Building an army of leaders helps provide long-term sustainability and succession, and we love the relationships we have made sharing this space together.
Your generosity is helping to create the next generation of mission leaders.
All of our GOOD NEWS projects are helping to introduce communities to Jesus all over the world. In the 45 countries where we are working, these projects (and more) are hallmarks of the work of Links.
