Sanitation is Saving Lives
From our Partner in South Asia
SAFE & SANITARY SOLUTIONS
There was a family living in a village in Southeast Asia. They did not have access to clean drinking water. There was also a young, disabled girl, who struggled to get water whenever she needed.
When we started water projects through Links last year, we used some of those funds to dig a water hole for the family. This was an open door for us to go to the family and build a connection to introduce 'Living Water' to them.
Through that project, we also saw that they did not have a toilet in the house. The women who lived there had to take a shower without any covered place to protect their dignity. They used to shower with clothes on which then led to improper sanitation and hygiene.
As we shared this very crucial need with our dear friend Jason, he immediately responded to the need and sent us sufficient funds to build the toilet and washroom for the family. On top of that, he sent more funds to build more toilets and washrooms for other families.
Thank you so much for your support. The needs here are huge. Please keep praying for this project and others so we can help more marginalized and vulnerable people in South Asia, who not only need clean water, but 'Living Water'.
If you would like to give to water projects in South Asia, please give here. Any donations towards these projects will change people's lives.
